We are looking to hire an Administrative Personnel for our Dance Studio. We are a Dance school in the Galleria area that teaches Country, Latin, and Ballroom Dance.

-We want College Students; Male & Females needed
-No experience needed, we will train you.
-Reliable transportation with driver license is required
-Expected to have basic computer knowledge

Primary Responsibilities
-Being trained in Latin, Country, and Ballroom Dance so as to assist Dance Instructors during their lessons when necessary
-Answering a high volume of calls and maintain a rapid response rate according to agreed standards.
-Explaining to potential students about our dance courses and booking them for introductory lessons
-Login information on calls received.
-Calling instructors to get their available work schedules and keeping them informed of their booked schedules.
-Reminding students of their lessons at least 2 days before their lesson.
-Making sure that all students sign out after their lessons.
-Keeping track of all instructors' lessons.
-File data and perform other routine clerical tasks as assigned and for other departments as needed
-Welcoming students with a smile and offering them soft drinks.
-Operating a variety of standard office machines, including a personal computer and a variety of computer software, phone, fax, calculator, shredding machine and photocopy machine.
-Entering all the students' information in Microsoft Excel.
-Communicating verbally and in writing between students/visitors/enquirers and relevant staff, as well as interpreting and responding clearly and effectively to spoken requests over the phone or in person, and to verbal or written instructions.
-Taking cash & check payments; registering the payment and providing full account of all the sales every night.
-Having reliable transportation: Running errands: getting office supplies and stuff for the studio and more errands for the studio director.
-Keeping and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general public.
-Performing receptionist duties in and efficient, professional and courteous manner.
-Maintaining regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures.
-Pursuing personal development of skills and knowledge as necessary.
-Being trained in Latin, Country, and Ballroom Dance so as to assist Dance Instructors during their lessons when necessary

Compensation: $12-$25 hourly compensation, depending on experience. Please be sure to email us your Resume and Head Shot to be considered for this position.
