Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree or higher preferred.

2. Must have a clear and valid Texas driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable driving record as determined by the Texas School Bus Driver’s requirements.

3. Ability to count and perform mathematical calculations.

4. Proficient in computer skills, specifically Excel (i.e. Microsoft Office Professional).

5. Self-motivated, able to work under pressure and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

6. Possess good physical condition, stamina and ability for heavy and repeated lifting of up to 75 pounds.

7. Experience in stock/inventory control, material handling and processing preferred.

8. Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays as assigned.

9. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and receive directives from multiple supervisors.



TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

260 days



SALARY:

$17.84 - HS8

Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year 2016-2017



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Manage the inventory and supplies of Community Programs and seasonal programs.

2. Maintain inventory records and assist in ordering items to keep stock.

3. Maintain snack records and place orders for snack items for all programs.

4. Review, approve and fill supply orders according to office procedures and guidelines for all programs.

5. Maintain inventory and manage major department equipment (i.e. laptops, two-way radios, printers, sound systems, karaoke machines, gaming devices, televisions, and similar).

6. Manage and move major equipment and supplies for all special events and manage the packing/storing of event supplies.

7. Provide quality customer service.

8. Provide input on the office budget.

9. Provide input on office and program policies and procedures.

10. Perform any and all other duties deemed necessary by the Director, Office of Community Programs and/or the Assistant Superintendent for Communication and Community Relations.
